I was sitting thinking about these letters and wondering. What does someone reading this actually think?

Do they think this is just a website about me? And why is he randomly sharing his thoughts online?

Valid question. Let me explain how I got here.

I work in e-commerce and sales. Sales was something I fell into, but e-commerce is something I love and have the skills for. For me personally, both of these roles are driven almost entirely by one thing — money. Constantly chasing that target.

But I've always wanted to find something more fulfilling. Something that could help people rather than just sell to them.

So I started searching for what that could be.

One of the ideas that kept coming up was a niche newsletter. My first reaction was that's not me. I'm not a writer, so I moved on.

But I've noticed that about myself. My mind shuts ideas down too early. That quiet voice in my head saying you're not good enough for this or you don't have the skills. So I've started writing ideas down instead of dismissing them. Stepping away for a week and coming back with fresh eyes.

When I came back to this one I got curious. What does a newsletter actually look like? What skills do I have that could apply? Who would read it?

As I started to dig deeper I became obsessed with the idea.

I thought, what if I could create an open space to write honestly about the journey I'm on, and maybe help others who are on the same one at the same time? I feel like most people wait till they achieve success to then start talking about it, but the lessons are in the journey.

I've thought about building an online community before and considered other routes. But this stood out to me. I already write pages in my journal every morning. It just makes sense.

So what do I actually want from this?

To find the men out there who see life similarly. Who can relate to these experiences. Who are focused on growth and becoming who they know they can be.

I'd love for these letters to find men with similar mindsets. To make them stop and think about some of the questions. To start a conversation or a connection. Maybe even find people to build with one day.

When I think about airing my thoughts online for strangers to read, every part of me disagrees with this idea.

And that's exactly why I'm doing it.
